I was saying what cute children you had. I am sorry for the loss of your husband at such a young age. Oh my. Did you say you had some family in California?  I am glad you will be getting assistance and I don't know how I can help. My friend Ronnie was 35 when he died leaving his family and for some reason he had taken out a life insurance policy. Then he died shortly after leaving his wife with a baby and one on the way. 

So sorry let me know if you need any work from home ideas ?

Sorry for the loss of your husband. Since you have so many kids (6 now & 1 on the way making 7),you should be able to get 7 checks from your husband's social security. If you are not receiving these,please apply.

Its ashame that your husband didn't have an insurance policy on him. I can't understand why people especially 'parents' don't take out a term policy of 'some' amount. Its quite reasonable to get one when one is young. I took out a policy on myself when I was 24 years old & didn't have any children at all. Oh well, everyone thinks different. I do wish people would think of their families more.

 in response to Starshine...   were you talking to me starshine about seeing me as i came in and cute kids? came in where ? or do you  mean on the site? all the kids are mine. none foster, none adopted. me and my husband seem to be the most fetile people on earth. we have 6 kids current and one on the way. obviously started having kids young haha. but i love them all and would die for them, life is a stuggle one after the other and since my husband passed has become a devistation, he passed away so young. only 38. suffercated by being buried in a trench doing directional drilling. its been tough and ive been approved for Food stamps in the process for cash assistance they said they would call me with appointment but its been a few days and nothing. so im going to comtact them tomorrow. our rent is 750 a month for a 4 bedroom, i cannot get a smaller place or cheaper place. i have to have 4 rooms, especially with going on 7 kids. got 5 girls current and 1 boy, about to have another girl only 13 more wks to go. due thanksgiving day. anyways its a bumpy and long road but i know with the love and dedication i have for my kids i will get through it.

 in response to stelle...   i continue to have them because i did have a husband, he was put to rest a few weeks ago! while i was pregnant with our seventh. i did however had my tubes tied, but do to medical error during procedure i am pregant something we did try to avoid. my husband died on the job. he did directional drilling and boring. unfortunatly there was no life insurance to help with his burial or anything for that matter.

I wondered the same thing when I saw this last night. One reason I didn't want kids with my ex right away we were struggling and it was enough with me having to work extra hours to pull the weight then take care of the animals he found. I loved our pets but I had to put a stop to it when the puppy got really sick and he wanted to get another dog after I had to put the puppy to sleep. This isn't about puppies but I didn't want kids till we could feel like we could afford them and it wasn't then. I know things happen and you have children. Sometimes they can be foster children one has.

go get housing assistance on medicaid they wil get you housing wicc foodstamps everything... all you have to do is go to your local medicaid office. I was on medicaid for one year and I'm doing great!!!

im a recently single mom of three beautiful kids, i left my husband because it was a really bad situation, well since ive been a stay at home mom i have no job or experience in almost 8 yrs, i need help finding a place for me and my kids to live and a job to support them.

I LOST MY JOB AFTER BEING INCARCERATED FOR TWO DUI'S,AND I NEED HELP PAYING MY RENT!!!!

I am a single mother of two wonderful children that I have been raising on my own for the past 12 years. No child support…no support at all from their father. We are three peas in a pod. We moved back to NC almost a year ago so my lease where we currently live is almost up. I will need to give our 30 day notice on or before June 30th. The reason we need to move from where we currently are is because I cannot afford the monthly electric bill. We live in a two story town house and are looking to move into something that is just one floor. It took me 8 painstakingly long months to find a job. I prayed so much I thought God was sick of hearing from me but I know that everything happens for a reason. I knew there was a job out there for me…it just wasn’t ready for me. My job is my dream job…it was as if I made a list of what I wanted from a job and they said ok, you’re hired!

I am now looking for a place for us to move to that isn’t far from my job but does get us out of the school district my son is currently in. My biggest problem is because of being out of work for so long I have a lot of catching up on paying bills and people back so coming up with a security deposit and first/last months rent is next to impossible. If anyone knows of any organization(s) that could help us in Brunswick County please let us know.  Well, any organizations besides Brunswick Family Assistance because they never seem to have funding available.

you should go to your nearest emplyment and human services department they will definitely help you . to what i hear you might qualify for  grant to cover for a place to stay ..you qualify for the first month rent and cover up to 1200 deposit!

Try calling 211 for any temporary cash assistance in your state and see about finding a roomate or I don't like saying it look into a shelter for your family as at least you will have a roof over your head and your children's heads.

 in response to mefjr79...   The Best thing I can tell you is to try temp work; go to staffing companies.  They may have temp- to perm work.This helped me get back on my feet.Also go to unions to see if they are hiring also. Stay in a shelter because it cold and go to soup kitchens at churches.And don't lose contact with your child.   I pray that things will get better for you.! God bless

Jerrie, I would check with the local shelters and see if they have any room, or maybe check in the ad's for people looking for a room mate. We are in need of a deposit and first months rent. Husband and I lost are jobs about 6 ms ago and he went to school and just started a job. my brother in law and his girlfriend just had a baby a little over a month ago. he is very ill and they need help getting a place to live. they were staying with me until they found an empty shed to move into that doest have heat or running water. is there any place in Baltimore, Maryland to get them help so the baby doesnt get sick and we dont have to woory about them freezing.

I need money to get a uhaul to get back home to my reservation. I have a 13 year old son with seizures. I am 53 with disability. I get SSI but not enough to get home. I am made to leave here end of oct. No where to go. I have a court date sept 14 for speeding-I am guilty. wont have money to pay fine. Please pray judge Prater has mercy on me. You need to find a shelter for you and your daughter , get some work somehow even if doing a house cleaning job a business you can start on your own.

I don't know how old your daughter is?

I'm a mother of a 14 month old I'm going to school full time. My sons dad just up and left and left $484 dollars of rent that he didn't pay I wasn't working I was a stay at home mom and now I'm in school I don't know what to do I need help if any one is willing to help me. Any little bit helps. I am even willing to take any job that some one can offer me.

 

Me and my children are in need of a place to stay.For the past three months we"ve been staying from place to place. My own mother will not let me stay at her house. I"m currently out of work but i am enrolled in a job search program.i've also been in a violent relationship that i'm also getting help with.

I understand.  I need help with security deposit with section 8, and a job.  I have a degree.  It getting harding, but be bless and not stress.

 

I am unemployed have worked hard all my life have a grate wife...got married on june 16 of 2008 and we are going to have a baby on 14th of aug ...and i get layed off i have been looking for a job but havent found one yet ...i am worried that i am not going to have the money to pay rent or bills i have no family to help me ...i not worried about me ..i am worried about her and my baby boy...HELP!!!!!

I need help! All these charities are turning me down. We just got evicted from our last place and facing it here as well. I have an 11 year old son and take care of my boyfriends 3 year old nephew. Does anyone know hwere to get any help?

Hi Amina, I just moved from another state. I need assistance with my deposit so me and my son can move. I've called Capitol Township, and a few other places, they only help if your coming out of a shelter or if being evicted. I do have section 8 and just need help with my deposit. I asked my caseworker and she says she know noone. Do you no anywhere in Springfield,Ill that will help me with my deposit? I already have my place it will be ready for me to move in real soon. I dont want to loose it, so if you have some info please let me know.

dear lou i am pretty sure your disability case worker should have a list of organizations that can help. i hope everything works ou for you
